Gospel of Mark 8:1-21

Last week, we talked about the intimacy of Jesus through the strange but incredible miracle of Jesus healing a blind and deaf man. This Sunday, we will be confronted again by Mark's Gospel with the question, "Who really understands Jesus?" Our text is Mark 8:1-21. In a time where information is everywhere, perspectives seem polarized, and following Jesus can feel confusing we will look to Mark's Gospel to help us follow Jesus faithfully. A question to reflect on before we gather together on Sunday might be: "What do I do when I don't understand Jesus?"
