Gospel of Mark 10:17-31

I look forward to being back with you all this Sunday as we continue our series in Mark’s Gospel. This week, we will look at Mark 10:17-31. Here, a wealthy man desires to follow Jesus but has ultimately devoted himself to a different love, leading him away from Jesus. This text gets at the core of what so many struggle with, dethroning our ultimate attachments. We will explore how following Jesus sets us free from the idols of our hearts by providing what our hearts actually crave - life with God.
