Gospel of Mark

This Sunday, we will continue our journey through Mark's Gospel. Our text is timely, as we celebrated the resurrection last week. If the resurrection offers hope (not simply optimism), this Sunday, we'll explore how it is that faith and hope go hand in hand. We often talk about faith as a virtue. We are good when we have it, and we are bad when we don't. In preparation for Sunday, think about faith as commitment. When do you find yourself quick to make commitments? What helps you stick to those commitments? Bring some food, invite a friend, and come hungry friends.
